What are Thread Veins?

How does treatment work?

The laser energy is absorbed by the blood vessels, causing them to coagulate and gradually break down. Over time, the treated veins are reabsorbed by the body, leaving you with clearer, more even-toned skin.

With electrolysis, a fine, sterile probe is carefully placed near the thread vein. A small electric current is then sent through the probe, targeting the blood vessels and causing them to collapse and be absorbed by the body over time.

What to Expect After Treatment

- Redness or slight swelling may occur in the treated area but usually fades within a few hours.

- Treated veins will appear darker immediately after treatment but will gradually start to fade over the next few weeks.

- With electrolysis, in some cases, a tiny scab may form where the vein was treated. This is a normal part of the healing process and should not be picked at.

- You can resume most of your normal activities right after treatment, though we recommend avoiding direct sunlight and intense heat (such as hot showers or saunas) for 24-48 hours.
